Much to my delight, my husband celebrates the (marginally) warmer weather by wearing his kilt around the house.
In other news, dormitory chairs to not have sufficient traction against carpeted floors to serve as hammock posts.
I now carry a lightweight raincoat whenever I go out, especially in the afternoon, when rain blows up without warning and blows away again. It rains most days, but often only for a few minutes. The change from sun to no sun is often abrupt. Often I’ll be working at the window and it will darken so quickly I suspect one of the plagues of Egypt has come down on us, but no; it’s only a cloud, and a brief one, at that.
